I loved the stay at Mainstay Luxury Boutique. Julie and Peter were incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home. The Deluxe King Room was beautifully decorated, with a super comfy bed that offered a perfect night’s sleep. I appreciated the provided tea, coffee, and biscuits in the room, along with fresh bottles of water. The location was ideal—quiet yet just a short stroll to the harbour, making it easy to explore Whitby. The parking situation was a real plus, safe and convenient. One thing I noticed was the lack of clear information regarding room views. I wish I had known more about which rooms offered specific views, like the railway station. a fantastic place with just that small bit for improvement on room view clarity.

Julie and Peter greeted us like family right from the start and were always there with some great local tips. The breakfast was seriously top notch, fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection, really sets the mood for the day.

Sure, it didn’t come cheap but it’s worth every penny.

I can't recommend this place highly enough! The room was luxurious, featuring a lovely big bed and a posh en suite. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the harbour and the train station, making it ideal for exploring Whitby. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, ensuring our stay felt like home. One small improvement could be the addition of a breakfast option, although there are plenty of cafes nearby.
